Gallery Wrap
Gallery Wrap (formerly Image Wrap): The image is printed larger so the edges can wrap around the sides of the canvas. For example, a 12×16″ image is printed on a 16×20″ canvas, with 1½” wrapping around the sides and ½” on the back. This makes the canvas look finished without needing a frame.
Mirror Wrap
Mirror wrapping refers to the method of reflecting the edges of an image onto the sides of a canvas print so that the entire image appears on the front of the canvas.
